Doosan Yonkang Foundation (Chairman Yong Hyun Park) announced on May 31 that it has
delivered 380 million won (about $321,000) in scholarships this year to 297 students who have been
selected as Doosan Dream Tree scholarship recipients or those from multicultural households.

Since 2006, the company has selected the Doosan Dream Tree scholarship recipients from among
those recommended by  metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide, and delivered
scholarships to a total of 3,966 elementary and middle school students until this year.

We will continue with our scholarship programs to support our neighbors and students from all walks
of life,” said an official of Doosan Yonkang Foundation.

Doosan Yonkang Foundation has delivered 1.9 billion won worth of scholarships to about 700
students, including 128 university students, 264 high school students, 166 middle school students
and 138 elementary school students, as of May of this year.
