The Doosan Yonkang Foundation will host the "Science Teacher Academic Tour" from June 9th to 16th, allowing elementary, middle, and high school science and mathematics teachers to visit domestic and international science-related industrial and educational sites.

The tour will include 26 recipients of the 2023 "Science Teacher of the Year" Award, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, and six recipients of the 2024 "Republic of Korea Mathematics Education Award", hosted by the Ministry of Education.
Over the course of eight days and seven nights, participants will visit industrial sites in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, and science museums, companies, and high schools in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo, Japan, to observe science and technology and educational settings.

Since 2007, the Doosan Yonkang Foundation has hosted the "Science Teacher of the Year" Award recipients on this tour. Starting this year, the program has expanded its scope to include recipients of the ‘Republic of Korea Mathematics Education Award’, and has sponsored a total of 637 teacher visits over 18 sessions to date.
