The Doosan Yonkang Foundation announced that it will provide a total of 3 billion won in scholarships this year.
On the 24th, the Doosan Yonkang Foundation held its first scholarship award ceremony of the year at the Yangjae L Tower in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and awarded 1.4 billion won in scholarships to 177 college students. The students selected this time are those who have demonstrated excellent academic performance and exemplary school life.
This year, the Doosan Yonkang Foundation plans to implement various scholarship programs, including the "Technical Talent High School Scholarship" and the "Multicultural Family Scholarship," and plans to provide approximately 3 billion won in scholarships annually to selected students across elementary, middle, high school, and college levels.
Park Yong-hyun, Chairman of the Doosan Yonkang Foundation, said, "I hope this will help the students selected as scholarship recipients grow into leaders of the future."
Since its establishment in 1978, the Doosan Yonkang Foundation has provided scholarships to 19,088 elementary, middle, high school, and college students who achieved excellent academic performance despite difficult circumstances.
