The Doosan Yonkang Foundation will hold an "Academic Tour for Science Teachers" from January 13th to 20th, which will allow elementary, middle, and high school science teachers to visit domestic and international science-related industrial and educational sites.
Twenty-four recipients of the 2022 "Science Teacher of the Year" Award, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, will participate in this tour.
Over the course of eight days and seven nights, participants will visit industrial sites in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, and science museums, companies, and high schools in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo, Japan, to explore science, technology, and educational settings.
Since 2007, the Doosan Yonkang Foundation has hosted the Science Teacher Academic Tour for recipients of the Science Teacher of the Year Award. To date, a total of 605 teachers have participated in 17 tours.
