On the 23rd, Doosan Yonkang Foundation held a publication ceremony to commemorate the publication of the Science Teacher Academic Tour Report at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel.

This report vividly contains the experiences and impressions of elementary, middle, and high school teachers who participated in the ‘Doosan Yonkang Foundation Science Teacher Academic Tour’ held in August of last year and January of this year while visiting overseas science education sites.

Chairman Park Yong-hyun attended the event and said, “Teachers provide students with new knowledge as well as a window through which to view the world,” and “We will continue to actively support teachers for the development of frontline education sites.”

Since 2007, Doosan Yonkang Foundation has been conducting academic tours for teachers who received the ‘Science Teacher of the Year’ award, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity. A total of 581 teachers have participated in 16 sessions so far.
