The Doosan Yonkang Foundation will hold the 14th Science Teacher Academic Tour, which will visit various science and technology and education sites in Korea and Japan for elementary, middle, and high school science teachers.

The 29 winners of the 2019 Science Teacher of the Year Award, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, will participate in this academic tour. From August 7 to 14, the participants will visit industrial sites in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, and science museums, companies, and high schools in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo, Japan, to examine science and technology and education sites.

The Doosan Yonkang Foundation has been conducting academic tours for teachers who have won the Science Teacher of the Year Award since 2007. The academic tour, which was temporarily suspended due to COVID-19, resumed this year, and a total of 522 teachers have participated in the tour over 14 sessions so far.
