Yeongang Foundation celebrates publication (1/10/2002)

093132608852.gifOn January 11, Yeongang Foundation, a cultural foundation under the umbrella of Doosan, held a party to celebrate the publication of a collection of travelogues in Geomungo Hall, Seoul Kyoyuk Munhwa Hwekwan. The travelogues were written by the teachers who took parts in the 13th overseas academic trip supported by the Group, where the in participants included 400 elementary, middle and high school teachers as well as directors of the Foundation.


Ninety teachers who’d spent two weeks (from June 17 to July 4, 2001) in China are the authors of the collection titled “Finding Our Ancestors’ Traces in China”.


Yeongang Foundation has been supporting various academic projects since 1979 including annual overseas trips for teachers, which began in 1989. So far, a total of 1,345 teachers were selected to go overseas.
