On March 5 Park Yong Oh, president of the YonKang Foundation, granted a scholarship amounting to 112.6 million won to 74 students selected from high schools and universities across the nation.

From 1979 to 2002, the foundation provided a total of 3.28 billion won to 3,841 high school and university students from poor families with an exemplary academic record.
