The Yonkang Foundation (President: Park Yong-ho) will present the Yonkang environment research grant at the Yongkang Building in Yeonji-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on September 9.

The grant has been awarded to help develop environmental technology and to activate research on the environment in Korea. This year, six professors and students at six universities will receive the grant, which totals 50 million won. The results of the research projects
will be compiled into a book of papers on environment study.

Affiliated with Doosan, the Yonkang Foundation is an organization devoted to scholarship and academic research support programs. It has been continuously running scholarship programs, academic research programs, and cultural programs since 1979.
