□ Doosan Group Yonkang Foundation (Chairman Y.H. Park) on September 10 donated a total of 22,050 customized books to a Korean school in Hanoi, Vietnam, 48 elementary schools and 21 children’s hospitals in Korea. The books are worth 130 million won.

□ The customized book donation program is designed to provide books that are recommended by teachers guiding book-reading and that are selected by students themselves among new releases and recommended readings, rather than supplying books selected unilaterally by the donor.

□ The foundation has donated about 64,000 books to 141 schools and children’s hospitals, including those in Korea, and Korean schools in Japan, China, and Vietnam, since 2006.
