On April 10, Doosan’s Yonkang Foundation (Chairman Y.H. Park) presented a total of US$ 88,644 to promising young athletes recommended by the Korea Sports Council.

The Doosan Dream-tree Scholarship is designed to discover and nurture promising young athletes. Each scholarship winner is granted US$ 4,432 following consideration of their performance at competitions and their household income.

The scholarship is presented to athletes in eight events, including track and field, swimming and gymnastics, in which the Korea Sports Council seeks to nurture promising young athletes.

Doosan’s Yonkang Foundation has been offering scholarships and supporting diverse academic and cultural programs since its foundation in 1978 as an academic and scholarship foundation.
