On the 6th, Doosan Yonkang Foundation held the '2024 Doosan Yonkang Environmental Academic Award' ceremony at the Korean Society of Environmental Engineers academic conference held at the Yeosu Expo Convention Center, and awarded 30 million won in prize money and a plaque to Professor Kim Jeong-hwan of Inha University and 10 million won to Professor Lee Chang-soo of Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology.

On the 2nd, Doosan Yonkang Foundation held the '2024 Doosan Yonkang Surgical Academic Award' ceremony at the Korean Surgical Society academic conference held at the Swiss Grand Hotel in Hongun-dong, Seoul, and awarded 30 million won in prize money and a plaque to Professor Kim Hyeong-jin of the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Eunpyeong St. Mary's Hospital and 10 million won to Clinical Assistant Professor Lee Young-joo of the Department of Breast Surgery at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital.

On the 24th, Doosan Yonkang Foundation held the '2024 Doosan Yonkang Pediatrics and Adolescents Academic Award' ceremony at the Korean Pediatrics and Adolescents Society Academic Conference held at the Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul, and awarded a prize of 10 million won and a plaque to Professor Ja-Hye Kim of Ulsan University Asan Medical Center and Professor Eun-Sang Lee of Korea University Guro Hospital, respectively.
