Doosan Yonkang Scholarship was established along with Doosan Yonkang Foundation in 1978. Doosan Yonkang Foundation selects high school and university students with outstanding academic achievements despite their difficult circumstances as 'Doosan Yonkang Scholarship Students' and supports them with full tuition until graduation. A total of 5,505 students have received this scholarship to date.

Launched on 2013, the Doosan Yonkang Mentoring Program is designed to cultivate social responsibility among Doosan Yonkang scholarship students by giving them opportunities for volunteering experience. It also aims to reduce private education costs for students from low-income families. Doosan Yonkang scholarship recipients and local group homes or child-care centers are assigned 1-to-1 as mentors and mentees.
