The Doosan Gallery, opened in 2007, supports the creative activities of young artists through exhibitions and education. The gallery also introduces Korean contemporary arts to general public and global audience.
The Doosan Gallery New York, established in Chelsea, New York City in 2009, is the first non-profit Korean gallery to be officially approved by New York State Government and the office of education. The gallery introduces outstanding Korean art through exhibitions of talented artists who lead the field of contemporary Korean art, and thus supports their work in the international art world.
Doosan Yonkang Foundation offers emerging artists working in Korea a studio and a living space in Chelsea, New York for six months. The artists-in-residence are provided with various supportive programs including a solo exhibition and the opportunity to interact with local professionals and art enthusiasts.
