Doosan Yonkang Foundation donates Korean books to spread the Korean language, foster peoplehood among overseas people. Since its launch in 1989 as the first such program in Korea, the foundation’s donation of Korean textbooks, dictionaries and other books to overseas people in China and Russia has raised national pride by informing overseas Koreans about the developed state of their motherland. Over 430,000 books have been shipped up to now.

Books have been donated to Korean schools in overseas locations such as Tokyo in Japan, Beijing in China, and Hanoi in Vietnam since 2007 to help the next generation of people take pride in Korea. Doosan Yonkang Foundation lets schools choose the books they want in order to provide customized support for each school.
