Doosan Yonkang Foundation has donated books to elementary schools in remote areas since 2006 to instill creativity and wisdom in children through reading. A teacher of the corresponding school request specific books for donation so that students can have the books their teacher hand-picked for them.
Doosan Yonkang Foundation is actively donating books to spread the Korean language, foster national consciousness among overseas compatriots, and inform them about the developed state of their motherland. Over 430,000 books have been shipped since the start of this program in 1989.
Doosan Yonkang Foundation has been donating books to schools inside the children's hospitals nationwide that were established for students who cannot attend school regularly due to illness. A wide range of books from reference books to story books that nurture emotions and foster a good nature have been donated.
