In addition to representing building blocks for the future, the three squares of the Doosan logo symbolize the strengths and attributes that have helped that company achieve success over that past 110 years. The squares are angled to indicate forward motion, representing Doosan’s aspirations for the future and its ongoing commitment to improving the lives of people around the world. The blue and green colors of the squares also have significance. These colors represents trustworthiness, reliability, and respect-all values that are synonymous with a company that is always three for its customers, business partners, and employees.
The Doosan brand colors are composed of three colors: Blue (Pantone Blue 072C), Light Blue (Pantone Process Blue C), and Green (Pantone Green C). The transition from the blue hues to the green hue represents Doosan's transformation and extensive capabilities in enhancing our everyday lives over the years. Blue symbolizes reliability and rationality, complemented with the Green that reflects compassion. Three Doosan colors work collectively as a whole, representing Doosan's collaborative approach and well-balanced characteristics.
The logo should be surrounded by a clearspace. A minimum distance equal to the height of the “D” must be allowed above, below, and to the sides of the logo. Maintaining this minimum clearspace will ensure that the logo is never crowed or linked too closely to other graphic element.
Whenever possible, the Doosan logo should be used with all of its components, including the three color blocks and while Doosan logotype. However, in application with extremely limited space, such as excavator arms, the Doosan logotype may be used alone. When used by itself, the Doosan logotype should never be rendered at a width of less than 14 millimeters.
